Anna Cubed

Anna Cubed is a computer game version of the card game Solo. You can either play on your own against the computer or online with friends. You don't need three friends to play online – any free spaces at the table will be played by the computer.

Anna Cubed was a final year project of Ben Campbell, Daniel Piddock, & Alex Pounds while students at the Computing Laboratory of the University of Kent. To use it you'll need a Java runtime - chances are you've got one already. Just download the jar file and double-click it. If it runs OK, you've got one. If not, visit Java.com and install what it suggests.

You may know Solo already, but we'd encourage you to read The Rules of Solo we used to implement the game. There's also the Technical Report we wrote for the project; section 5 has some "How to use Anna Cubed" documentation that'll help you get going.

If you have any problems with it, it's probably best to get in touch with me. I'll see if I can help you get it going.
